For my Midterm Project, I had to design a Web home page for online and print. I had to convert my images into TIFF files, which are used for print, and JPEG files, which are used for online. I focused this project on the Bank of America Chicago Marathon that occured in 2010 and wanted to keep things simple for readers visually and the colors bright, too. I added a few images at the bottom reserved for Facebook, Twitter and Blogger links to give the feel of and resemble a real website. I also added links at the top, right below the home page title, for viewers to look at other pages related to the marathon.

Bringing Color and Youth Back Into This Buisabuela's Life
For my Photoshop Image Project, we had to restore an old picture of a great-grandmother, also known as buisabuela. The original version had marks and spots scattered throughout it, and the great-grandmother looked pale and almost dead in the portrait. It was very gloomy and dark. In my version, I wanted to give some color to her skin, brighten up her appearance give her a very stoic look but still resemble the original. I removed all the missing spots and marks by blurring them out, and I toned the picture and added some color to her.
